The ‘20 in 20’ series takes a deep dive into each of the 20 teams competing at the historic World Selects Trophy in Nashville, Tennessee on June 28th. This 15U tournament is set to feature the best players in the age group from around the world with players from the U.S., Canada and Europe. Today, we take a closer look at Exposure Hockey.

EXPOSURE HOCKEY

A small, elite-level program with players from the United States and Canada, Exposure Hockey has a rich history of working with some of the top players in North America. Just this spring, 17 former participants from the Exposure Hockey All-Star Weekend were invited to skate at the U.S. National Team Development Program (USNTDP) 2005-birth year evaluations in Plymouth, Michigan.

The coaching staff has more than 3,000 NHL games under its collective belt, with Ian Moran coaching the 2007 group and Tom Poti coaching the 2008s, 2009s and 2010s. Hockey Hall of Famer Jarome Iginla will be behind the bench for the 2006 squad in Nashville, heading up a very talented bunch.

The 17-player roster consists of players from the Boston Jr. Eagles, Wisconsin Jr. Gamblers and New Jersey Colonials

Forwards Jack Sadowski, Jordan Gieke and Gavin Cornforth should factor heavily into Exposure’s offensive attack. Cade Cozak is an exceptional talent from the backend as well, and can make plays in all three zones.
