The Sweater Showdown provides participants with not just a competitive tournament to start the new season, but also gifts custom-made third jerseys to all participating teams. That's right, all attendees receive a personalized set of uniforms that they can take home and sport as an alternate jersey for the rest of the winter season.

No, registration for this event is an application and is NOT a guarantee of acceptance. You will be contacted via email with confirmation of your acceptance to the tournament within two weeks.
The no refund policy will be waived if this event is cancelled due to COVID-19 issues.
If teams drop out of the tournament due to COVID-19, a credit will be issued for a future World Hockey Event tournament. Click here for eligible tournaments.
All participating teams are asked to be prepared for an 8 a.m. start on the first day of the tournament. All championships games will conclude no later than 5 p.m. on the final day of the tournament. (All times local)
