TOURNAMENT INFORMATION

This weekend is not about adding to the trophy case or hanging banners (sorry Predators), exposure is the name of the game. Over October 7-10, 2022, the Jr. Predators Tier I Host Weekend is about building an atmosphere for elite talent to be seen by the coaches and scouts at the next level. Join World Hockey events in Music City for this exciting tournament that is sure to challenge your squad against great competition.

Commonly known as the Music City, Nashville is home to country music, the Grand Ole Opry House, Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum as well as dozens of honky-tonks and bars loaded with live music. Located on the Cumberland River, the city provides a southern charm, ringing in as the 23rd most populous city in the United States. A Proud sports city with professional football and hockey teams, and two major universities in Vanderbilt and Belmont.

FORD ICE CENTERS

Two state-of-the-art facilities the Ford Ice Center Bellevue and Ford Ice Center Antioch will host the event. The facilities combined have four NHL-sized ice rinks and each location has a Perani's Hockey World Pro Shop, concessions and meeting rooms.

This is a stay-to-play event, meaning that all participants traveling more than 100 miles to participate in the event are required to stay in hotel rooms provided by Welcome Travel Services.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

No, registration for this event is an application and is NOT a guarantee of acceptance. You will be contacted via email with confirmation of your acceptance to the tournament within two weeks.

The no refund policy will be waived if this event is cancelled due to COVID-19 issues.

If teams drop out of the tournament due to COVID-19, a credit will be issued for a future World Hockey Event tournament. Click here for eligible tournaments.  

All participating teams are asked to be prepared for an 8 a.m. start on the first day of the tournament. All championships games will conclude no later than 5 p.m. on the final day of the tournament. (All times local)

World Hockey Events is partnered with Welcome Travel Service, to provide participating teams access to discounted team rates at local hotels. We require that all out-of-town teams MUST book their rooms through Welcome Travel Service to ensure the best rates, availability and quality of your stay while at the event. Rooms will book quickly so please make plans well in advance.
