The King of the Rockies will be crowned this year at the Colorado Tier-1 Host Weekend! Some of the top youth hockey teams in the U.S. converge on Denver, Colorado, to challenge each other for the throne. Join us for this exciting tournament that is sure to challenge your squad against great competition.

THINGS TO DO IN

DENVER

Denver is the most populous city in the state of Colorado and is a walkable, outdoor city with days of sunshine, sparkling blue skies, and breathtaking mountain scenery.

Located at the base of the Rocky Mountains, the Mile High City offers adventures for all without ever needing a car.

The 16th Street Mall is a 1.25 miles outdoor pedestrian and transit mall.

Historic Larimer Square is loaded with options to drink, eat, shop, and relax.

Smile, say cheese, and have some fun at Denver's one-of-a-kind selfie museum.

Crack open a cold one and explore Denver's breweries and street art in the RiNo Art District.

SPORT STABLE

The Sport Stable in Superior has two full size ice rinks, mini-skill sheet, a bar/restaurant, indoor turf fields, coffee shop and an incredible atmosphere. It is located approximately 30 minutes from downtown Denver and 40 minutes from the Denver International Airport.

This is a stay-to-play event, meaning that all participants traveling more than 100 miles to participate in the event are required to stay in hotel rooms provided by Welcome Travel Services.

ARE ALL TEAMS ACCEPTED IF THEY APPLY?

No, registration for this event is an application and is NOT a guarantee of acceptance. You will be contacted via email with confirmation of your acceptance to the tournament within two weeks.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION AND COVID-19 POLICY?

The no refund policy will be waived if this event is cancelled due to COVID-19 issues.

If teams drop out of the tournament due to COVID-19, a credit will be issued for a future World Hockey Event tournament. Click here for eligible tournaments.

WHEN DO GAMES BEGIN AND END?

All participating teams are asked to be prepared for an 8 a.m. start on the first day of the tournament. All championships games will conclude no later than 5 p.m. on the final day of the tournament. (All times local)

I NEED HOTEL ROOMS, WHAT DO I DO?

World Hockey Events is partnered with Welcome Travel Service, to provide participating teams access to discounted team rates at local hotels. We require that all out-of-town teams MUST book their rooms through Welcome Travel Service to ensure the best rates, availability and quality of your stay while at the event. Rooms will book quickly so please make plans well in advance.
