TOURNAMENT INFORMATION

This one-of-a-kind rivalry pits teams from opposing U.S. states against each other to find who will have the bragging rights! The 2023 event is a showcase-style weekend with teams representing their home state, including Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont and YOUR HOME STATE! Represent with pride at this spring event today.

Want to submit a team? Gather up a group of players (9 forwards, 5 defense, 2 goalies) from your home state and represent in this one-of-a-kind tournament! States can submit a team at each age group or just one if they so choose.

EXETER

Exeter is one of the most beautiful and historic towns in New Hampshire. This New England city is located in the Seacoast area, 50 miles north of Boston, Massachusetts, and 50 miles south of Portland, Maine. Not only is Exeter home to many local shops, seasonal scenery and other attractions, it's also just a short drive to many nearby New England attractions that draw tourists to the area year-round.

Downtown Exeter is peppered with great local shops and cafes all within walking distance.

Enjoy food and spirits at local spots like Neighborhood Beer Co. and Laney & Lu Cafe.

Nearby towns Kittery and Portsmouth offer additional shopping and dining.

Downtown Boston is less than an hour away. Take in a game or check out the bustling city.

WHERE TO PLAY

THE RINKS AT EXETER

Two NHL-sized sheets of ice with a pro shop, concessions and bar in the lobby area. The Rinks At Exeter is one of the more modernized facilities in all of New England including great sight lines LiveBarn for remote viewers as well.

ARE ALL TEAMS ACCEPTED IF THEY APPLY?

No, registration for this event is an application and is NOT a guarantee of acceptance. You will be contacted via email with confirmation of your acceptance to the tournament within two weeks.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION AND COVID-19 POLICY?

The no refund policy will be waived if this event is cancelled due to COVID-19 issues.

If teams drop out of the tournament due to COVID-19, a credit will be issued for a future World Hockey Event tournament. Click here for eligible tournaments.

WHEN DO GAMES BEGIN AND END?

All participating teams are asked to be prepared for an 8 a.m. start on the first day of the tournament. All championships games will conclude no later than 5 p.m. on the final day of the tournament. (All times local)

I NEED HOTEL ROOMS, WHAT DO I DO?

We require that all out-of-town teams MUST book their rooms through Welcome Travel Service to ensure the best rates, availability and quality of your stay while at the event. Rooms will book quickly so please make plans well in advance.
